Walking Tour Introduction

The sun sparkles over the deep blue sea and allows the cliffs to gleam in soft pink. In the back the high peaks of Corsica rise majestically. Few countries offer views as fascinating as the coastal landscape of the Gulf of Porto.

Your daily walks take you past precipitously cliffs, to dreamy coastal towns and lonely sandy beaches. Also the hinterland of this region will fascinate you. While you explore the peaceful pine forests and craggy gorges on small rarely used hiking trails you are accompanied by a fantastic panorama of the rugged coastline offers. Hiking in Corsica is truly a feast for your senses!

The coasts of Corsica are rocky and can be slippery, especially in wet conditions. Surefootedness and a good physical condition are therefore necessary for these walks. Some short stages are exposed. For these sections, you should be free from giddiness.
